We had our last class in the garden before the practicum. I chose the "compass and straight lines" activity, where we pick leaves and try to fit circular or straight lines on them. I picked a leaf from a grape vine, sketched it, and traced circular paths with my compass. It is satisfying seeing symmetry in nature, but as I fit more circular lines, the symmetry broke, and I was left with uneven gaps between my circles, which is rather frustrating, ha ha.
For most of the class, I was also thinking about my practicum placement since I just got my email today regarding it. I will be fully honest, the thing that worries me the most isn't teaching or making lesson plans, but rather if I can make a good relationship with my FA and SA. I am still very uncertain what my they want from me. Hopefully, things will go smoothly for everyone.
